Erik is a GIF maker from Santa Monica, California who posts under the name hexeosis. He started making GIFs a little over a year ago but he has been making animations using computers since he was a little kid. On a good day, art is everything to him. On a bad day, art is ridiculous. Most days it is a mixture of both. He creates his GIFs using After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. He spends a lot of time trying to imagine what the music he listens to could look like and he is inspired by that. Along with music he is inspired by Sunsets.

Sunsets are different every single day, completely free, and rendered real-time in full resolution 3d. I can’t even imagine the processing power behind that…

Glenn Harvey makes narrative-driven images with symbolic twists and turns embedded within them.

I’m an illustrator from Toronto and recent graduate of the illustration program at Sheridan College.  I’m focusing on images that are hand-drawn with pencil, and rely on linework and hatching to express whatever I’m trying to get through in the piece. Thematically, I’m influenced by so many genres and different things that it can be hard to describe sometimes.  I’m a fan of story-telling most of all, so as long as it’s got a good story - it doesn’t really matter what genre it is, then I’m into it.  The same can go with the content of my art, as long as there’s a story there for me to get into, the content of it can be almost anything at all.  As an undertone, violence and conflict are things I’m interested in exploring. though not in a gratuitous way.  I’m working on revamping my portfolio in the moment to hopefully reflect more of my personal world, instead of the editorial one I’m trying to make my bones in - so stayed tuned.

Charlie Deck is an artist on Tumblr who posts an animated GIF every day under the name bigblueboo. Most of his sketches are studies in other artists styles or tests of different techniques. So far, the GIFs he has created are exercises in service of developing an aesthetic, not the result of a fully realized one. Through practice, a handful of clear themes have emerged: negative space, perception, simulations and cycles. He uses Processing, Cinema 4D, Unity, openFrameworks and shader programming to create his art.

Carne Griffiths- Art using Ink,Tea and Alcohol

Working primarily with calligraphy inks, graphite and liquids, such as tea, brandy and vodka Griffiths’ fascination with drawing focuses on the creation and manipulation of the drawn line. Images explore human, geometric and floral forms, in a combination of both literal and abstract translation and in response to images and situations encountered in daily life. Images are recorded in a dreamlike sense onto the page where physical boundaries are unimportant. His work creates a journey of escapism which focuses on scenes of awe and wonder, projecting a sense of abandonment and inviting the viewer to share and explore this inner realm.
